Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Canarywire, a service operated by Alomco Ltd (company no. 11746274, 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ) ("we", "us"). By subscribing to or using Canarywire, you agree to these terms.

1. What Canarywire is

Canarywire monitors official UK public registers and emails subscribers when a relevant entry is added or changes, matched to publicly available company information. It is an information and lead-signalling service for business use.

2. The information is provided "as is"

• Our alerts are drawn from third-party public sources and are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take care to compile and match data accurately, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current or error-free, and there may be delays between a register changing and an alert being sent.
• You are responsible for verifying information against the original source before relying or acting on it. Source links are provided for this purpose.
• Nothing in the service is legal, regulatory, financial, or other professional advice. If you need advice, consult a qualified professional.

3. Your responsibilities

• You may use Canarywire only for lawful business purposes.
• If you use information from Canarywire to contact organisations or individuals, you are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including data-protection and direct-marketing rules (UK GDPR and PECR). We provide information; how you use it is your responsibility.
• You may not resell, redistribute, republish or make the feed available to third parties, or use automated means to extract data from the service, without our written permission.
• Your subscription is for your organisation's own use.

4. Subscriptions, trials, billing and cancellation

• Plans and prices are shown on the relevant feed page. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• New subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
• Any founder or promotional discount applies as stated at checkout and for the stated period only.
• You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing us; cancellation stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
• We may change prices on reasonable notice; changes take effect at your next renewal.

5. Intellectual property

The underlying public register data is provided under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Our compilation, enrichment, presentation, software and branding are owned by Alomco Ltd. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the service running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability, and may modify or suspend features for maintenance or improvement.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for decisions you make based on the information provided. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. You may stop using the service at any time by cancelling your subscription.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact
